‘Ghost’ is a hauntingly beautiful song, which explores the theme of his first break up. Speaking about the single, Benedict explained that the song “is all about the pieces of someone that are left behind in you in the aftermath of a breakup. I’m not a religious person, but I am spiritual and I believe people come in and out of your life for a reason.  I don’t think anyone ever really leaves you, there is always a ghost of them, whether it’s emotional, or just reminders of an old song that we used to play, or places we used to visit.” Thevideowas filmed live in one take at Red Gate Recorders and shines light on the raw and natural talent that Benedict possesses. Gearing up to unveil the full ‘Piano Tapes’ EP, Benedict is certainly one to watch over the next few months.

Growing up in Hertfordshire, Benedict Cork quickly made the move to London aged just 18 to kick-start his music career. Sourcing inspiration from pop legends Elton John, Sia and Adele as well as Scandinavian pop, Benedict insists on storytelling in his song writing, allowing personal experiences to shape his music, resulting in powerful and emotion filled works. The multi-talented musician is only just getting started on what is sure to be a hugely successful year ahead.
