Ravell

Richard Garcia - better known to those in the dance music world as Ravell - is a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer who is known for his infectious, enrapturing take on uplifting melodic house. His music has captured the attention of both fans and artists alike, receiving support from leading curators like Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Kaskade, Galantis, and more.

Ravell’s passion for music began early on after being encouraged by his father to start DJing alongside him at the age of just 12. He quickly graduated from spinning house parties to commanding the decks of main stages, beloved venues and nightclubs around the world. Ravell wasted minimal time breaking into the dance music scene as he earned early support and recognition from the legend Kaskade. He would later open for the house veteran during his Freaks of Nature Tour in 2012, which landed in prestigious venues like Los Angeles’ Staples Center. Continuing to climb the ladder and build his brand in the following years, Ravell made his debut at Coachella’s iconic Sahara Tent, completed a five-show run at the award-winning XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas, played to over 20,000 people at the Los Angeles Convention Center, took the stage at EDC Las Vegas, and capped off his 2016 year with a sold-out New Year’s Eve show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

In 2017, Ravell made his glorious return to Nevada for EDC Las Vegas and went back on the road with Kaskade for his Spring Fling tour. On the production end of the spectrum, Ravell saw countless widely-supported releases, which included ‘Get Away’, ‘That Body’ and ‘Sunrise Riot’ among others. Ravell then proceeded to capture the hearts of Latin fanatics with his dynamic official remix of Enrique Iglesias’ No. 1 global hit ‘Duele El Corazon’ and ‘Subeme La Radio’.

The past twelve months have already proven to withhold some of Ravell’s most iconic moments in his burgeoning career. He found his way back to Thrive Music for the release of ‘Feelin’ You’ alongside Jack Trades and BAER and crafted his most recently released single with the LondonBridge-assisted ‘Before I Go’, which featured Kaleena Zanders. Kicking off 2019 with a bang, Ravell hosted his inaugural ‘Ravell & Friends’ event at Academy Nightclub in Los Angeles, which turned out to be a massive success as Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella even made an appearance to lend his support. This past March, Ravell appeared on the Beyond Wonderland billing and went back-to-back with his mentor Kaskade as part of his birthday celebration in LA. His most recent venture may be one of his proudest achievements thus far as Ravell got behind the decks during week two of Coachella at the coveted Heineken House.

With dance music entering its peak months in 2019, Ravell is slated to make the rounds at countless festivals and venues across the world as he seeks to bring his bright, electrifying sound to dance floors everywhere. Beyond touring, Ravell continues to remain diligent and dedicated to honing his craft in the studio with multiple releases currently waiting to be unveiled to his fanbase.
