Canadian DJ/producer Mickhel Patterson has been producing his signature blend of bass-centric music since 2015. Known as Gl0bal, his major releases from 2017 and onward have garnered firm support from industry titans like DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers, Hardwell, Krewella, Chuckie, Dillon Francis, Major Lazer, and fellow Canadian dubstep legend Excision. A wholly multifaceted dance music talent, his unique mix of trap, bass, and dubstep recently caught the attention of Flux Pavilion’s label Circus Records. His 4-track ‘Insomnia’ EP was his debut contribution to the imprint, released at the beginning of June 2019.

The burgeoning producer has released a significant amount of original productions throughout his venerated career. His recent highlights include his remix of Khwezi’s ‘Fragile’, as well as his groundbreaking smash hits ‘WYN (Watch Your Neck)’ and ‘Believe’. Serving as the lead singles to his forthcoming EP, both records have already amassed an impressive amount of combined streams in mere months since their debut. The highly-anticipated second chapter in Gl0bal’s EP series, ‘Insomnia 2’, continues his unique sonic vision he set forth last summer and also sets an exciting precedent for what’s to come from the evolving bass-centric producer.
