16-year-old Astrojaxx - has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the new generation of EDM producers. The classically trained musician, composer, producer, and DJ kickstarted his knack for production at only 3 years old - behind the piano. His irrefutable talent only grew stronger from there. He went on to be one of the youngest ever graduates of the prestigious, award-winning Scratch DJ Academy, which certified him as one of the youngest DJs in the world.

At only 14, he was accepted by exception to participate in Berklee College of Music’s rigorous and competitive summer program.  His unwavering passion and immense drive earned him a highly sought-after spot in the GRAMMY Museum/Recording Academy’s signature summer electronic music production and audio engineering career track programs at USC’s Thornton School of Music in 2018 and 2019. GRAMMY-nominated sound engineer Luca Pretolesi has taken a front-seat role as his mentor.

The LA-based musician began professionally rocking the DJ decks when he was 13 years old. In 2017, his debut single ‘Back to You’ was premiered by YourEDM, who called it “a thunderous debut for an artist for whom we have great expectations”. ‘Back To You’ charted at #23 on the NACC Top 30 Electronic Chart - an incredible feat for a debut single, cementing his natural talent in the studio. Shortly after the release, he was booked to perform at the pre-party for nation-wide extravaganza XQ Super School Live in Santa Monica. The main event boasted appearances from the likes of Chance the Rapper, DJ Khaled, Justin Timberlake, and more.

Astrojaxx’s sophomore and most recent release ‘Universe’ features Argentinian Spotify sensation Mechi Pieretti. The track quickly gained momentum and charted at an impressive #9 spot on JOOX South Africa’s “What’s New” section alongside music icons including Sam Smith and Beyonce. Subsequently, the young producer released a corresponding music video, which was directed by Lourival Rodriguez (CNCO, Nicky Jam) and featured highly sought-after talent including ULTRA Angel, Yasmin Colman and Vanesa Seco, the star of Tiesto’s ‘Grapevine’ music video. The video racked up an impressive 1,200,000 streams from across the globe within a month of its release.

When he’s not in the studio nor performing, Astrojaxx finds the time to develop his philanthropic passion by supporting charities such as Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and Walk To Africa. At only 16, Astrojaxx’s accomplishments would be regarded as extraordinary by most. There is no doubt that this prodigious teenager is destined for greatness. With a slew of releases and collaborations in the rolodex, 2019 is shaping up to the first of many banner years for the blossoming producer.
