[November 28, 2016 – Brooklyn, NY] Wrapping up another hugely successful 12 months, the world-renowned club Output will see out the year in style, as it hosts some of dance music’s biggest underground names throughout December. Tale of UsArt Department, Damian Lazarus, Derrick May, Headless Horseman, and Oscar G are just a handful of the tastemakers helming the celebrations, with UK legend John Digweed ringing in 2017 with an 8-hour extravaganza New Year's Eve set.  
 
Main room renovations, including a new Funktion-One setup and expanded dance floor system, along with the hosting of its first BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and a highly acclaimed rooftop season are just a few of the highlights of 2016 for the groundbreaking Brooklyn venue.
 
 
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2

Every set is a new work of art for Berlin-based duo Tale of Us, and their extended slot at Output will be no exception. Buzzing off their epic performance at Fabric’s #SAVEOURCULTURE event in London, the techno connoisseurs will bring their meticulously crafted melodies to the main room on Friday, December 2. Long time residents and deep house gurus Frank & Tony return to the Panther Room after their most recent Punch Drunk Love event, alongside one of Deep4life's leading engineers and producers, Darand Land, who is fresh off the release of his debut EP ‘Discover You’.

Now headed up as a solo project by Jonny White, Art Department will be returning to Output to bring a heavier dub-house sound; reminiscent of his recently released project, The Mix CollectionArt Department. As White masters Art Department’s new direction, Output will play host to another extraordinary night of sultry house. Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus will join White in the main room, where he’ll demonstrate his vast knowledge and influence in the scene as a selector. Touch of Class Records co-founder, Ray Zuniga, will round off the night, exhibiting his range and depth, seamlessly transitioning between techno, house, electronica and disco.

Output’s night dedicated to techno purists - Grayscale - will present a unique lineup on Saturday, December 17, with Derrick May, the Godfather of Detroit’s techno scene and founder of Transmat Records, making his long awaited return to the venue alongside Barcelona’s classically-trained live performer and Carl Craig-collaborator, Francesco Tristano.Having recently collaborated on the forthcoming Surface Tension LP on Transmat Records, the two pioneers’ respective sets will demonstrate the wide-ranging talents and sounds of the label. Local experimental techno staple Pjay brings his new hardware for a live set, while Indiana-born Berlin-based techno DJ Kyle Geiger and Bossa Nova Civic Club's resident Max McFerren will be present as support for the night. Meanwhile, The Panther Room will host Thema’s 10 Year Anniversary celebration, showcasing New York nightlife stalwart and Thema founder, Lenny Posso, with label mates Myles Sergé headlining and D’Marc Cantu performing live.
 
 
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23
Grayscale | Headless Horseman, Dadub, Gunnar Haslam [Output]
 
Enigmatic live musician Headless Horseman makes his New York debut as a Grayscale headliner on Friday, December 23. Ever since his first performance at Berghain in 2014, the mysterious mask-wearing producer has toured the world over, providing fans of introspective soundscapes with a wealth of spectacular, improvised sets. Supporting the man of mystery and also making their New York debut is Dadub of Stroboscopic Artefacts, delivering their sterling productions via a DJ set. Touching on everything from dub to techno and ambient-IDM when on stage, Dadub is set to bring their eclectic efforts to the main room at Output. The Bunker NY’s Gunnar Haslam will lead off the night and is expected to perform new material from his and Tin Man’s collaborative, acid-laden project - Roman.

Legendary DJ and producer, John Digweed, will deliver an 8-hour set to ring in the New Year. The undisputed don of technical DJing is set to showcase his sharp skills and sophisticated sound to close out 2016. Along with his Bedrock label, promotions company and production partnership alongside Nick Muir, Digweed has become a global entity famous for packing out every venue he enters. One of Digweed’s favorite DJ's and Cityfox resident, Naveen G, will kick off the festivities with a wide-ranging performance of his own.
 
Techno enthusiasts will find their haven in The Panther Room, where Push The Night has curated an outstanding lineup of local acts to soundtrack the countdown to 2017. Push The Night founder Brad Miller will headline, with a special B2B session from supporting New York City based DJ's James Gill and The Turning Point’s Rory James. Opening sets from Beatport chart topping tech-house DJ Alan Nieves, Deep Perfect’s Ravi and long time staple of the east coast dance music scene Ori, will provide clubbers with a variety of new sounds to explore in their journey to the New Year.

Miami’s Oscar G is set to host Output’s second all night New Year’s celebration on January 1, with a special back-to-back set from Nervous Records founder, Mike Nervous, and celebrated New York based promoter, Benny Soto. Oscar G's 'Made In Miami' series is renowned for being a staple in the house scene, always touching on the crowd's favorites. Be sure to catch Oscar and company for a night of unreleased and classic house as the curtain lifts on 2017.
