Gramatik has always been an early adapter. It began at the age of 3, when his mother would catch him glued to the radio in his older sister’s room, checking out the cassette tapes with American funk, jazz, soul and blues. He started making his first beats on an early PC by the time he was 13, and soon the kid from Portoroz, Slovenia figured out how to harvest the power of free file sharing to build a following throughout the US & Europe. Tracks spread, hype grew, tours followed, and before long his digital persona forged the initial inroads into the US market, securing him both a label and an agency.  Gramatik landed on US soil as a fully formed artist who knows how to do things his way.Gramatik recently announced the launch of his own record label Lowtemp and offered his fans a first glimpse of the song with his video for "Bluestep".  The cut combines the vibes of raw 50's and 60's Blues with a melodic, groove-infused Dubstep beat - the result is a signature Gramatik genre clash, also what he refers to as "Bluestep".This fall we'll see Gramatik trek across the US and Europe with his Coil production in tow.  The dates will all feature his crew and fellow Lowtemp artist, ExMag supporting alongside HeRobust on select dates. Age of reason or reason enough, the revolution begins now.

2014 has been a landmark year for Lowtemp label head Gramatik. From the release of his seminal album ‘The Age Of Reason’ to selling out some of the most prominent venues in the world, including the esteemed L’Olympia Paris, Denis Jasarevic has left a distinct imprint like never before this year.

To round it off, the aptly named ‘Leave Your Mark’ tour has been the crowning accomplishment to this stunning run. Going from coast to coast in the US, and up and down across Europe, it now draws to a close with four huge shows in the UK. Starting off at King Tut’s Wah Wah in Glasgow on December 10th, and going back-to-back in Manchester, Bristol and London, from there – Gramatik and his Lowtemp label mates will be bringing the much applauded show to their biggest British venues to date – with an extra special performance from Big Gigantic at The Forum in London!
